About the role
We are recruiting a Head of Human Resources for a leading micro finance company in Ghana. You will lead the people function and develop an HR strategy in line with the company’s business goals. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and talent development, and oversee compensation, benefits, payroll and HR policies. You will also make sure the company complies with Ghana labour laws and manage employee relations fairly. This role suits an HR leader who can build a strong team and culture as the business grows.

- Ensure compliance with Ghana labour laws and manage employee relations
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business or a related field (CIPD, SHRM or IHRM is a strong plus)
- 5+ years’ HR experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
- Experience in financial services or a branch-based business preferred
- Sound knowledge of Ghana labour law and HR best practice
- Strong leadership, communication and people skills
