About the role
The Mold Installation Technician installs, assembles and removes molds in production machines, making sure they are set up and aligned correctly so the machines run safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Day to day, the technician follows work instructions and safety procedures when fitting and removing molds, inspects, cleans and does basic maintenance on them, helps troubleshoot mold-related production problems, and records all installation, removal and maintenance activities. The role reports to the Shift Supervisor. Candidates need a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 0 to 3 years of experience in mold installation or mechanical maintenance, with knowledge of mold alignment, mechanical assembly, and pneumatic and injection-molding systems. Attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to work safely under pressure are also expected.
What you will do
- Install and remove molds following work instructions and safety procedures
- Inspect, clean and carry out basic maintenance on molds
- Support troubleshooting of mold-related production issues

What we are looking for
- Education: Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience: 0 to 3 years in mold installation or mechanical maintenance
- Technical knowledge: Mold alignment, mechanical assembly, and pneumatic and injection-molding systems
- Behavioural traits: Attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to work safely under pressure
