About the role
Leads the plant's supply chain from planning and procurement through to warehousing, distribution and logistics. That includes inventory, raw materials and finished goods, supplier negotiations and cost control, and working with production, finance and group planning while tracking supply KPIs. The person needs a supply chain, logistics, business or engineering degree (CIPS or APICS is a plus) and management experience. They should also be strong in SAP and Excel and know import, customs and clearing processes in Ghana.
What you will do
- Lead supply planning, procurement and inventory management
- Run warehouse, distribution and logistics for raw materials and finished goods
- Manage suppliers, negotiate terms and drive down costs
- Work with production, finance and group planning teams and track supply KPIs
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering (CIPS or APICS is a plus)
- 7-10 years in supply chain, including a management role (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong SAP/ERP and Excel skills
- Knowledge of import, customs and clearing processes in Ghana
- Strong leadership, negotiation and planning skills
