About the role
The CISO owns information security and cyber-risk management for a microfinance company. They develop and run the security strategy and protect systems, customer data and digital channels. They also ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements and lead incident response and security awareness. The ideal candidate has an IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity qualification, experience leading information security (ideally in financial services), and knowledge of ISO 27001 and cyber-risk frameworks.

What we are looking for
- Qualification in IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- Experience leading information security, ideally in financial services
- CISSP, CISM or CISA certification is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and cyber-risk frameworks
