About the role
The Hiring Company enables greatness across Africa by facilitating Africa-focused international and regional trade. Its Advisory Division is seeking a Director, Advisory to take full P&L leadership of the business — originating and executing high-value mandates across Trade Advisory, Corporate Finance Advisory, and Treasury Advisory, and building a high-performing franchise across Nigeria, Ghana, and the wider West African market. The role sits at director level, reports to the Group Chief Executive/Board, requires 12–15 years' relevant experience, and applications close 28th September 2026
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- MBA, CFA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
- 12–15 years' relevant experience in corporate finance, advisory, investment banking, or structured trade finance
- Demonstrated experience in Africa trade origination and facilitation, with a proven track record across West Africa
- Strong exposure to financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Experience managing P&L or business units within a professional services or financial institution environment
- Willingness to be based in Nigeria or Ghana, with high travel across West Africa and selected African markets
